Two color stranded hat with optional picot turned edge, knitted in a traditional Scandinavian floral motif with short color runs. A knitted lining provides double thickness for additional warmth around the ears and creates a blank canvas to customize the inside of the brim with initials or a message using duplicate stitch (instructions not provided for duplicate stitch). Written pattern with chart for color work section. Double decreases create a star pattern on the crown. Using one skein each of two colors of Seven Sisters Arts Zodiac allows for enough yarn to make two hats by reversing color placement on hats. Sample done in Twilight (mc) and Fogbound (cc).
